Huandoy and Huascaran

Together with Chopicalqui, Huascaran Sur and Norte form the Huascaran massif. Huascaran Sur is the highest mountain in the Cordillera Blanca as well as in whole Peru and consequently quite popular. The south summit is 113 meters higher than its (much less frequented) north-twin

 

Huandoy is the second highest mountain in the Cordillera Blanca, an honor that it shares with Huantsan. Huandoy's fabulous summit crest holds four distinct 6,000 meter summits (Huandoy Norte, Huandoy Oeste, Huandoy Sur, and Chacraraju) arcing round a high glacier plateau
